NTC temperature sensor, also known as negative temperature coefficient temperature sensor, is widely used in temperature measurement, control, compensation, etc., especially in air conditioners, refrigerators, electric ovens, ovens and other household appliances. It has become an important temperature measurement core electronic component.
Many high-temperature resistant NTC temperature sensors adopt the following structure: select a glass-sealed thermistor, protect the glass-sealed thermistor with a metal casing, and fill with epoxy resin.
However, when measuring the temperature, the heat needs to pass through the metal shell and epoxy resin in turn, and then pass through the glass shell (glass shell) in the glass-sealed thermistor, and then transfer to its internal thermistor chip (thermal chip), resulting in temperature sensing. The distance is long and the temperature measurement accuracy error is large; moreover, the epoxy resin is easy to carbonize when used in a high temperature environment above 125°C, which will affect the temperature measurement effect and even lead to the failure of the use function. Although the glass-sealed thermistor can work normally in a high temperature environment of 200 to 300 °C for a long time, due to the epoxy resin, this temperature sensor cannot work in a high temperature environment above 125 °C for a long time, and the thermal conductivity of epoxy resin is poor. Further, the temperature response time of the temperature sensor is slowed down, and it is difficult to adapt to the increasingly high-efficiency requirements of household appliances.
Therefore, a highly sensitive and high temperature resistant NTC temperature sensor has been developed, which has a sensitive response, fast temperature sensing speed, high temperature measurement accuracy, and can work normally in a high temperature environment for a long time.
The highly sensitive and high temperature resistant NTC temperature sensor uses stainless steel sealing glass powder as a medium, directly joins the glass shell of the glass sealing thermistor and the stainless steel shell through sintering, and fills the inner cavity of the stainless steel shell with silicone potting glue.
In the process of temperature measurement, the heat can directly reach the glass-sealed thermistor glass shell after passing through the stainless steel shell, and then be transmitted to the thermal chip inside the glass shell. Compared with the existing temperature sensor, the temperature-sensing distance is shortened, thereby improving the temperature measurement. precision. Moreover, the silicone potting compound is more resistant to high temperature than epoxy resin, has a wide operating temperature range (generally in the range of -50 to 200 °C), and does not emit heat during curing, which has minimal stress on the glass-sealed thermistor, and is not easy to cause The glass bulb is broken. In addition, silicone encapsulant has better thermal conductivity than epoxy resin, and has good flexibility, high hardness, and good repairability.
The temperature sensor has sensitive response, greatly accelerated temperature sensing speed, and high temperature measurement accuracy, and can also work normally in a high temperature environment for a long time.
